Sooner he finds that the dagger is a powerful device to travel and change time and that Tus is not the traitor and he engages with Tamina in a quest for justice.

If you love and yearn for the bollywood masala of the yesteryears, then look no further than Dabangg. I do not remember the last time I went to a movie theater and actually whistled at a hero's entry/dialogues/dance. For Sallu Bhai I did all three. Make no mistake, its a very thin plot, almost non existent, its made with a purpose, and that is to provide Salman Khan the canvas to prove his screen presence. And he has made the most of it!

Set in the backdrop of rural UP, Sallu Bhai for the first time acts in a bhojpuri avatar as Chulbul Pandey, a corrupt but good at heart police wallah. You got the typical filmi elements...larger than life villain in the form of politician Sonu Sood as Cheddi Singh, evil step father (Vinod Khanna, wasted in this role is what I feel, he is too classy for this stuff), bumbling step bro Arbaaz Khan. There is even the typical item song to round it off! Incidentally, thats the highlight of the movie! Watch this movie for Sallu unleashed, playing himself...dancing to unchoreographed steps. The mischievous brat we adore!

How to Train Your Dragon (2010) HDTV 720p

I saw the trailer and I enjoyed it but I was afraid that all the good parts from the movie will be there and that will be all, like it was with many films lately. That was certainly not the case. There are way better parts that were left to be discovered and I definitely congratulate the choice.I didn't read the book, so I don't know the story, witch might have suffered, as stories usually do from books to picture, but I think a writer couldn't hope for a better image, better portraits of characters, especially the black dragon who one definitely falls in love with - the mimic and the gestures and the face expressions, so complex and real. I agree it's not the kind of movie that makes you keep thinking too much once it's finished bot it's not meant to be. It's just lovely, from the beginning to the end, I really laughed and I was anxious for the characters when they suffered (and I'm 22). The film wasn't too long, it didn't have stupid lines whatsoever and it put to silence the annoying child behind me from the first five minutes or so, which I believe says it all.

Shutter Island (2010)

Dead Man Running (2009)

 The performances leave a little bit to be desired, however. Danny Dyer, who now seems hopelessly typecast, really phones in his performance and it would be nice to see him given a role which might stretch him. If he keeps taking roles like this one, though, it ain't going to happen. Here Dyer is reunited with his co-star from 'The Business' (ten times the film that 'Dead Man Running' is, by the way) Tamer Hassan. Hassan, again, means well but again he's given very little to work with. It's a shame as both he and Dyer have, I feel, more to offer than this formulaic 'good-guys-gone-a-little-bad' buddy-buddy nonsense.

Right Ya Wrong (2010)

Sunny a hothead brave-n-big heart cop's life is not so sunny. His wife is bedding his step brother. Time for Gadar. Isha is vamp wife. His brother shows off his bod and likes it dark, wears shades in the house. Both douse the lamps and bite each other under velvety covers whenever dutiful husband gunning down mob and planning surprise party for lovely wife. To make matters worse, in field one day Sunny is paralyzed waste down in a crossfire. Brooding in wheelchair he finds out the wrong side of the better half and schemes right plan to kill them of course. If you think I am giving away the plot then you need help. Promos screaming that from rooftops already. Paaji's plan is apparently flawless. Hatched and executed to look like an open and shut case of self defence. You sit up for awhile till question mark of how is resolved. Irrfan is buddy cop smells something is fishy. His conscience forces him to stand up against his pal. Working harder than rest of the cast, taking the film seriously. Konkana moves visibly uneasy as lawyer of our hero. Courtroom drama follows with predictable dalilein and underwhelming Sach Ka Saamna type lie detector test. There is no moral inquiry either. All just stretched out from an episode to make a movie. Pick up Alfred Hitchcock's Dial M For Murder or Allen Pakula's Presumed Innocent from video library instead.

Striker (2010)

After Striker, I am sure, I am not going to miss any of his movies. The movie has a great ensemble of young & emerging as well as some veteran actors who all flawlessly do justice to their respective characters. The cinematography is superb and takes the audience right inside Mumbai's darkest alleys! The dialogues are delightfully crisp and witty. These are the factors which carries the film forward and even manages to cover up the (very few) glitches in the storyline...Watch Striker for the performances and realism with which the movie carries itself. Highly recommended!

Max Payne (2008)

Blood and Bone (2009)

I saw this movie last night and I thought it was a pretty good movie. Michael jai White plays his role pretty good. The fight scenes to me were good compared to some of the other fighting movies that are in theaters. Overall, I enjoyed the movie. This is one of those movies that I would love to have seen in the theaters. If you enjoy enjoy martial arts pictures or just plain ole fighting movies, then you won't want to miss this one. The story line made sense unlike some others that are sometimes hard to follow. The only thing that I would loved to have seen be different is the lines from Pinball. I think his lines were a little overkill. The writers could have toned it down a little because he wasn't really funny if that's what they were trying to portrait.
